“Bi men are just gays too scared to commit” “Bi women just wanted a minority status and are really just straight” (funny both of these are about bi people only liking men…curious) A lesbian actively gagging in front of the woman she hooked up with after finding out she was bi the next morning My partner and I are both bi, I’m afab apagender, he’s male, we have been forced to leave a queer events bc no one believed we weren’t straight

Whatever caused my now husband to have so much fear about coming out as bi to me, an openly bi woman.

I’ve been told I’m going through a phase, I’m a fake queer, I’m doing it for attention, I’m less queer than gay/lesbian people, I’m transphobic (I’m trans and dating a trans person), I’ve been told I shouldn’t be in sapphic or queer spaces because I could one day have a boyfriend (mind you I’m not a woman so this person also misgendered me), that biphobia isn’t real, the common “omg bi people can’t take a joke” when the joke is biphobia, and the constant “side mention” of bisexuality.
