Apparently other places the discourse has shifted from trans men can’t be lesbians to nonbinary people can’t be lesbians. Do we see how trying to exclude good faith identities is a slippery slope to exclusionism and transphobia

I mean technically speaking trans men nor non-binary people can be lesbians. Lesbians are women into women. Trans men and non-binary people are more to welcome to be into women, but labelling them as lesbians would be wrong , they aren’t women, their either men or genderless people

I mean technically I’m a fucking dyke and to say my transness takes away from that is a insult and genuinely is just hateful and transphobic.

Historically, trans and nonbinary people were almost universally included in lesbian spaces. The largest subculture of lesbians who excluded trans people from being lesbians excluded only AMAB people, and/or anyone who has ever had a penis (intersex folks). So, if you're going to start excluding any trans people from IDing as lesbian for "technical" reasons, it would be trans women. Does that still sound good to you, or are you realizing that maybe it's not your job to police other people?
