
My aunt does not see themself as trans but when trans people are being disrespected will say they’re trans just to be like “hey don’t say that people around you are trans.” I feel like that’s pretty common for nonbinary people who don’t transition and aren’t trying to like “pass as nonbinary”
Sort of? I’m not against being called trans at all, and I don’t ID as cis. But I’ve been told by many trans people that it’s offensive for nonbinary people who don’t take hormones to call themselves trans. I don’t agree, but I don’t like arguing or being insulted like that (I think transmed is the word, that group I think is who doesn’t like it)
