i had to look this up bc it didn’t sound real but no there were straight women in 60s/70s that claimed sexual orientation is a political choice & “adopted” lesbianism to reject heterosexuality & patriarchy.

In the 60s and into the 90s there were radfems who were straight, but they adopted lesbianism as a political orientation and dated women. Again, I’m not talking about bisexuals I’m talking about STRAIGHT WOMEN like this shit sounds so misogynistic but it was real!
