Started a job today and never introduced myself as nb so everyone is misgendering me but I don’t even care. I got my new chosen name on my name tag and being called that name made me feel so happy I really think this is the one for me

I honestly feel way more dysphoric being called my legal name than being called a he or she idk if anyone else is the same way but I feel like my identity is more tied to the actual name. I didn’t realize until I started trying it out

I’m in a similar boat. I still kinda prefer they/them for pronouns but I also don’t care enough to correct someone more than once or twice.
