Came out to my homophobic mom yesterday and she was so accepting I’m in shock. Not trying to complain, but I spent years worrying I’d end up homeless and finding out that was never a possibility is so strange. I have been carrying the grief of losing them
Omg I just know that is a huge weight lifted. Take it in, and know you are loved no matter what!🩷

For over a decade, and finding out that was all in my head has made me feel very crazy and mentally ill 😵💫

I thought my entire homophobic family was gonna be a nightmare when I introduced my bf. Somehow the worst reaction I got was "you think we didn't already know? We still love you" ♥️😭

I thought the same thing when I came out to my parents

My daughter came out at 33. “You are the last person to know YOU are queer, dear.”

Like when it happened I couldn’t believe it but just give it time this is a big step for you you are still in shock of the outcome all I can say is be happy because you can live your truth around the people you care about the most.🥰
Congratulations 💕

Haha, I get the sense that’s maybe how my mom felt cause I am 22. I’ve known since I was 11 though.
