No fucking literally. Ppl act like trans men aren’t gonna experience the same shit as cis women do a lot of the time. Or like non-passing or semi-passing trans men don’t experience a weird intersectional bigotry of misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, etc. Ppl never fuckin listen when trans men talk about the weird aspects of societal norms that we experience. Or at least that’s been MY personal experience w trying to share mine.
I feel like there’s a precident that trans men are seen as men instantly. Like people in queer spaces will treat trans men the same as cis men and stuff. Like they’ll say we shouldn’t use bathrooms we’re comfortable in “because ur a man.” And like yeah Sharon but also I have d cups and a soft face and pink hair I’ll get beat up in the men’s
Also saying we can’t be careful around cis men. If I say I don’t like being in groups of cis men I’m told “well you’re a man.” Like yeah. But again. Pink hair d cups fem frame. I’m not seen as a man. I’m seen as a woman. And women in this society are seen as objects by many men. So no, I as a person who is a man but does not pass, am careful around cis men.
