Anyone else feel confused about which labels to use? I really want to label myself because having a label would give me a sense of stability that I’m craving, but at the same time idk what label would fit. Bisexual is probably closest but still idk

bisexual is a great label! i’m definitely not biased whatsoever. queer is also fantastic and all-purpose.

Feel free to DM me, I have way too much knowledge about labels and might be able to help

True, but I also grew up hearing “queer” in a negative way and it still doesn’t feel right to label myself as such as an adult. So I might go back to bisexual I guess?

definitely understand that, reclamation can be difficult for a lot of us. you may find it easier if you spend more time in in-person community spaces, and that might also give you more clarity about how you identify. if that’s something that is accessible for you.

I actually recently moved closer to my local gay bar, so I think I might try that? I’ve only been once before and it was a bit much for me, but I could give it another shot

definitely understandable. try going during off-hours maybe, or see if there are other community spaces. june is a great month to try and get connected.
