slight pet peeve but it bothers me when a woman calls a man a lesbian. for reference, i keep getting edits on my tiktok of men and the caption jokingly calling them a lesbian. saw it most recently with mike from stranger things) idk why. thoughts?

i think part of my reasoning is because it perpetuates weird stereotypes about sexuality and gender expression and because a lot of these same people don’t give actual lesbians the light of day but fantasize over men whom they can jokingly call lesbian as an aesthetic.

yeah i don’t understand what’s appealing about a man being a lesbian when they never really care for actual lesbians in media this much
