Maybe it’s just personal preference but I think an experience or a nice meal is always a safe option. Material gifts are difficult to get right when you don’t know someone that well

a small trinket could be cute like if someone got me a cool rock, one of those little glass blown animals, tiny stuffed animal, etc I would be thrilled

That way she can pick out something she likes, herself. My girlfriend wanted to get me something from a store she knows I like, but wasn’t sure what I’d actually want, so she got me a gift card and we actually made a date out of the shopping trip
