People act like trans people don’t know we can’t change our chromosomes. Like no shit. I don’t care. I don’t care about some guy digging up my grave in 1000 years. I care about me and being alive and happy and me

Also, how many people ACTUALLY know their chromosomes? I don’t! Unless you’ve been karyotyped (which most people haven’t), you don’t know either. And at the end of the day it doesn’t matter. Chromosomes are just chromosomes.

Even then, chromosomes are just one (1) component of sex development— it is not the sole component. They don’t really matter all that much. Hormones contribute a LOT more. And those absolutely can be changed! 😈 (Not that you NEED to be on HRT to be trans, of course! But the “your chromosomes ___” bullshit doesn’t hold up.)

Maybe I’ll get karyotyped. But even though they may be diffrent my point is that it’s stupid that conservatives want us to be upset about small unchangable things about the sex we’re born as, instead of realising that being trans is about being happy in yourself and your presentation

Like I’m not dysphoric about my skeleton barbra. I know if some weirdo digs me up in the future he’ll think I’m female. I care that I, a living breathing human being RIGHT NOW!!! Want no boob

Most people don’t even know their blood type. Everyone has Shrodingers genes. Open the box Karen, I dare you

They also like to pretend that bones don’t change literally throughout your lifetime. 😂 HRT definitely rotated and widened my pelvis a bit. I was off balance for a few months when it really started kicking off and had to learn to adjust to how I now walk.

Yes!! And archaeologists often struggle to identify the sex or gender of remains, and they get it wrong occasionally.

Funnily enough… I made note of my blood type when I started making Japanese friends. 😂

I’m Japanese and I have no idea what the connection is between having Japanese friends and knowing your blood type. I only learned mine when I was 21

It’s something that gained a little traction in East Asia as a kind of ‘personality determiner’ (unfounded, of course), but some interpret it similarly to how some interpret horoscopes. 血液型性格分類, blood type personality theory, for if anyone is curious to look into more.
