we live in a misogynistic society and no one is without internalized misogyny. I think some choose to just ignore this so that they can pretend ppl who don’t conform to normative gender are uniquely misogynistic

I’ll never get why people say “X group needs to work on their misogyny” as if every group doesn’t struggle with it lol. it’s also just vagueposting, since “misogyny” comes in SO many forms. it’s not helpful to call out “bad behavior” unless you say what that behavior actually is.
