i saw the video, and while i can’t say anything for certain, i’ll tell you what my trauma surgeon family member said: from the amount of blood immediately spurting from the wound, he was probably hit in the carotid artery. even if the best trauma surgeons were within arms reach of him and 100% ready to operate right then, it likely wouldn’t change the outcome. they simply bleed out too fast and the artery cannot be repaired in time. if he survives, he’s going to have significant brain damage.
