I have so much respect and love for the trans community. The extreme levels of harassment you guys get—on top of the normal struggles being trans already comes with—and you still have the bravery to publicly be your authentic selves. You’re my heroes

While I love your sentiment here OP I do want to clarify one thing. Trans people just are, it’s not a choice to be. So saying it’s “brave” might be taken the wrong way. Choosing to transition is a choice but not doing so doesn’t make someone any less trans. Living as ourselves vs just living with dysphoria vs repression are all battles we deal with regardless of our stage in transition

Right! That’s exactly what I was going for. I’m sorry if my word choice was confusing. I wasn’t trying to imply that it’s a choice to be trans, I just think it’s extremely brave to not shrink or hide who you are in a world that shames anyone who doesn’t fit their idea of what’s “normal.” (Usually anyone outside of being white, straight, cis😒) Thanks for pointing that out, sorry if the words I chose came off as ignorant 😭🙏🏼❤️
