my mom is slightly transphobic, not out right, but she’s knows my best friend has been trans 8/11 years she knows him and still says she by accident. she also said “you can still see the feminine features.” in a condescending way (btw there aren’t any)

i just hate it. she also said “i know deep down *his moms name* it eats at her.” and i told her no mom it doesn’t and i’d be okay if my kid was trans and she’s like yes i understand i will always accept my kid but i know it also kills her and that just sounded a bit weird

yea, i came out to my mom (i’m gender-fluid) and she went “no, you’re not. you’re my daughter, you’re just a tomboy”, but she completely accepts my non-binary best friend and even corrects people that misgenders them. like, girlie, either support everyone (especially your kid?!) or be a total POS not partially one

The “yes I understand and I’ll always accept you but also no” always gets me

nah fr like i kinda realized my mom is transphobic and i feel so sad bc he’s my really close friend, like a brother to me. i will always defend him and be his #1. i always correct her, i always yell at people for him even if he annoys me and we fight like siblings lol; but that’s just the bare minimum for my friend.
