Sorry 🥲 I get the ‘the question’ all the time. Especially when I came out. The whole narrative of ‘not having children’ is automatically selfish has never made sense to me. Especially such a common ‘pitch’ made by folks trying to convince you to have children is, “…but who will take care of you when you’re old?” There are selfless and selfish reasons for both paths - it’s just what works for you, what you’re able to do, etc.
