Honestly, it can really help to normalize queer media in your life. Watch shows about happy lesbian couples or queer couples or something so you can see how the dynamics and relationships change and don’t always have to be heteronormative. Also recognizing it’s how you were programmed and not who you are can help to redirect the negative feelings you might hold towards yourself (assuming you are homosexual or trans in some way hence being in this community).
