there are lots of reasons people want alcohol free spaces, ex, being in recovery, trauma around substances, just not wanting to be around drunk people, etc

Can you do that when you’re under 21? Just go to a gay bar and not order alcohol?

There’s one close to me, and if you’re under 21, they give you wristbands, mark your hands with sharpie, and take your ID until you leave. I just got mocktails the whole night because the bartender was really nice, and they were really good, but I would say check around your area and see if they’re something like that as well. It was super fun when I went. 10/10

Cool, I can’t be around those spaces no matter how hard I try. I’d still like to be involved in Queer spaces and have fun with other people but we only have bars around here for the easiest access.

Technically if you’re queer, than any place you go is a queer place lol. But fr, you should try meeting people online near you or talk to queer people from your school/work/whatever and hang out with them outside of those. See a movie, go to dinner, go shopping, go to parties, even bookstores or other shopping places. Just be together and there for one another, letting all of you know that you’re supportive

I know my school has at least one (that I know of) LGBTQ+ specific club, so I would look into that for your school if possible. If there isn’t one, then why not rally a group up and make one? That would make a safe space for sure, and I really do hope you find one you’re safe and comfortable in 🫶
