i really think we should step away from the idea of some people being 'more queer' than others. obviously some willl have greater ties to the community and culture, but i often see this being pushed on stuff like bi people are less queer than homosexuals, or in an eviler way that people deserve less respect for being more queer, like a they/them asexual gay person is 'doing too much' and 'more queer' than a "normal gay person"

it also just creates infighting as people try to be seen as "gay enough" to belong in the community and drives away community members as it makes the community seem exclusive

i acknowledged being connected to community and culture, but it's a dangerous line to tow and often is used interchangeably. OP just said some people are more queer than others and i personally think we need to avoid that kind of language in general

5 was actually replying to me, but I deleted my comments. I had been responding to #3 who deleted their comments. I deleted mine after because, after 3s comments disappeared, it looked like I was arguing against you instead of agreeing with you 😭

I think we generally agree, but I still think you’re assuming OP’s intent when it’s ambiguous w/o them clarifying. we don’t know what they meant until they say what they meant, so you’re possibly criticizing OP for smth they didn’t do. unless you were just being general
