Ok, but if someone you’re talking to says that it makes them dysphoric/uncomfortable, don’t do it to them. And I say that not because I assume you push back, but because I have had “friends” disregard it when I say that.

fair, but I don’t personally like when I’m referred to as girl so i usually just politely ask people to not do it to me. same way how sometimes people ask me to not call them specifically dude, so I stop calling them dude even though I “call everyone dude”. like yeah ppl shouldn’t hate you the first times but also listen to people if they don’t like being referred to a specific way.
