what are y’alls opinions on events that are open to everyone except cis men?

i find that these are usually lesbian spaces that are open to trans women and reluctant to exclude trans men

I think a space that requires someone to disclose their queerness is not a safe space. There are plenty of closeted trans people that want to go to these events but feel barred from doing so because their attendance is a forced outing

exactly! they kind of push trans men to be more clocky than they would otherwise be so someone doesn’t get on his ass because they think he’s cis
