Personally I’d rather not. Most if not all healthcare stopped using mental ret*rdation as a term anymore. And ret*rd as a slur is still being widely used today as an insult to neurodivergent people or people with mental disorders. Even if a few people are using -t*rd as a “positive” word….there are still far too many people using it in a negative term to put people like me down over and over. So I’d rather they just use their words and say “you’re so stupid. You’re an idiot.” instead of the slur
