literally only phrased it in terms of “isolation” because when the OP of the original post used the language of discrimination, you misrepresented them as if they must have been generalizing about Every gay man, even though they were very obviously referring to on-average community norms I was trying to avoid receiving the same treatment, but ofc that just led to you lecturing me about “you’re gonna feel isolated in any type of space” instead

They said “the gay community” not transphobic or queer phobic people. So yeah, that’s referring to the gay community, not arguing semantics or anything that’s just what the post said 🤷

are you aware that this is a platform with character limits, meaning that people often word complex posts somewhat simplistically out of necessity and then carefully elaborate in the comments? did you read the comments, where the OP was more careful with their words? congrats on not being in a position where you need the reminder that other people know what it’s like to feel unwelcome even in gay spaces due to your gender! not a great justification for making peers feel even less welcome!

and nah, you made no real “point”, all you did was demonstrate reading comprehension issues in the context department and an inclination towards petty power trips over others in your own community
