
I feel like the difference between things like “autistic person” and “person with autism” is mostly moot, but I do think it’s good to try to get people to stop saying stuff like “autist” or using trans, homeless, and such as nouns. Less important that it’s person first, and more important to at least include that they’re a person.
I had a word limit but in training videos some more examples are saying “a person with autism” instead of “an autistic person” or “a person experiencing homelessness” instead of “a homeless person” I feel like it increases the negative stigma around the issues instead of trying to see them in a positive light
