the UK is about to ban trans people from both bathrooms because “we wouldn’t want to alarm any transphobes”. this shit just feels dehumanizing. Like treating us like fucking animals.

like yes they were Lubavitchers so more progressive than other Hasidim, but most of that congregation were very isolated and had probably never met a trans person before that, so for the rest of society to be more regressive than my Hasidic former congregation is just so odd to me
