The lesbian club on my college campus requires you to apply. I just found out abt it but I find it ridiculous that I can’t join until the spring bc applications are closed. Am I just supposed to wait until January to make gay friends??

For a minute i thought you were talking about a nightclub and i was lowk jealous, but uh join a crochet club or something thats a little fruity, im surprised they dont allow ppl to drop in and do like a trial run meeting to see if they like it tho, I don’t think any of the clubs on my campus require that

I hope it came out of some sort of necessity (and if thats the case it’s still very unfortunate that we’ve gotten to the point where we cant trust people to respect the space and our identity) but I genuinely don’t understand why they’d need an application and for it to take so long to review otherwise

It’s not even the application part that bothers me like that’s fine i get they want lesbians that are actual UT students but the fact that the applications are closed is just so frustrating
