no it’s not im tired of this bullshit. as a TRANS WOMAN, sometimes in certain conversations it’s important to note the difference in female/male childhood development!!! It’s important to recognize ! It has helped me become closer to women in my life. And on the other hand, it allows us to not ignore the misogyny and oppression young trans men went through.
Ok? Well I can happily admit I knew almost nothing about periods, bleeding, or vaginas in general growing up bc the world viewed me as male. That is male socialization. No one wanted to tell me bc my parts didn’t match up. I have since learned ofc, but I now carry tampons or pads with me ( if i remember ) bc im a woman and even without a uterus, I think more women should carry products in case someone asks! Not everything is doom and gloom and bioessentialist!!!
So I’d APPRECIATE it if you all would stop shutting this conversation up bc of your bad experiences! If YOU don’t want to talk about it, fine! IDC. You aren’t going to stop me from doing it by calling it TERFy. This is just a way to shut trans women up bc the conversation makes some of us uncomfortable.
So you dont think that,,, the patriarchal society raises male and female bodies differently? That different expectationss are placed on to that person based on their assigned sex? Thats just a bunch of nonsense. If that were the case and neither the binary man and woman were raised exactly the same way sexism wouldn’t be a thing and neither would the patriarchy.
