Okay this might grind some gears but AAVE is not GAY SLANG!! “chile” “sis” “finna” etc. originated from black ppl (i am a gay but I’m black first don’t attack bc i will argue back)

nearly all american slang basically moves between communities from queer & black -> black -> queer -> non-white -> white. it’s a really cool process to see imo

I’m gonna be real who cares if whoever says sis or finna or claims it or whatever. Hell even goober and banjo were originally AAVE. I don’t think anyone cares if the words are used as long as you’re not using it to mock

People adopt language all the time. Just cause something is used more or more popularized by gen z or lgbt doesn’t really matter. Anyways let ppl say whatever, gatekeeping this stuff is silly

Lmao nope. It’s just not as deep as you’re making it. But keep fighting ppl on twitter or whatever. Try and be normal in the real world

it’s kinda is that deep when black people have been dehumanized for how they talk, look, behave, etc but everyone wants to be them

everything is as deep as you dig. you having a surface level understanding doesn't make the topic any less deep kiddo - it just makes you shallow and ignorant
