If they are the same person and hold the same beliefs and the only thing that changed is their sexuality I think it’s weird to not accept them. Now if they went conservative….

If they’re saying they’re straight because of a religious conversion or political stuff, that’s definitely a big red flag. If they’re genuinely learning about themself, then it’s good to be supportive.

if they went down the alt-right pipeline i’d be very concerned & worried but if it’s just a “hey i was wrong about my sexuality” kinda thing i wouldn’t care

What if that’s what feels normal for them right now, not saying the other isn’t. But the same way anyone’s sexuality feels normal for them.
