If they are the same person and hold the same beliefs and the only thing that changed is their sexuality I think it’s weird to not accept them. Now if they went conservative….

If they’re saying they’re straight because of a religious conversion or political stuff, that’s definitely a big red flag. If they’re genuinely learning about themself, then it’s good to be supportive.

Yeah ppl can explore their sexuality it’s normal (like other comments said, ofc it’s more concerning if it’s in response to like conversion therapy or a cult or something, but assuming they just changed their mind under non coercive conditions)

if they went down the alt-right pipeline i’d be very concerned & worried but if it’s just a “hey i was wrong about my sexuality” kinda thing i wouldn’t care

What if that’s what feels normal for them right now, not saying the other isn’t. But the same way anyone’s sexuality feels normal for them.

I wish it was more acceptable for people to go back and forth, or even staying unlabeled, i think a lot of ppl stress out about choosing the exact right label because they don’t want to have to admit they changed their mind later
