used to be in the closet, came out thinking i’d feel better. now i just feel even more hyperaware of the fact that i don’t fit in with most women and do in fact make them uncomfortable.

i live in a pretty conservative area but have found people who despite not being conservative still have that awkward ignorance of not knowing what to say at the mention of anywhere queer. so imo it’s honestly best to just avoid making things awkward by accepting the isolation.
