I think it should be less “don’t do this” and more “be careful when you do this” it’s really easy to tell the difference between “oh cool this nonpassing trans character looks like me or someone i know” and “this nonpassing trans character was made as a joke because they don’t pass”

Before I deleted TiokTok (good riddance) I noticed so many people dogging on artists who drew pre-hrt/pre-sugery trans characters saying they were fetishizing them or that the characters weren’t actually trans, it’s fucking insane
