SCOTUS killed privacy when they allowed states to require age/identity verification to use the internet. Should children be watching porn? No. Is it the government’s job to regulate it? No. The USA wanted parental rights so bad now do your job.

True but what is worse is that it will make everyone have to do a daily update on how they look to the government and this is only going in place because some parents are to lazy to put on the built in security where they can block websites and others it’s literally just lazy. Parents are the reason why we have this now.

It’s not parents, it’s conservatives who want any excuse for surveillance. Protecting women and children is a conservative rhetorical strategy used to infringe on people's rights. Not to mention the govt doesn’t care about protecting children. US gov has intentionally ignored the UN's rights of a child, bc to ratify the CRC would prevent parents from being able to control their children. This control comes at the direct expense of their rights.
