Friend said I’m invalidating their identity because I (at the request of several others, mind you) asked them to stop bringing their straight boyfriend to so many queer spaces because it was fucking up the vibe and making people uncomfortable

that’s like saying it’s segregation to kick someone out of a store when they’re being disruptive or making others obviously uncomfortable (which is what he was doing). if you’re misusing the space then you shouldn’t be in that space.
