As a person in a red state myself, I gotta say a few things: 1: We often cannot financially afford to move. I am not allowed to have a job due to my dad. Which brings me to my next point 2: Some of us can’t simply move. We either don’t have transportation or we live with family that we rely on and don’t have the resources to do so.

3: Unless you’re trying to help someone get out of a red state, shut the fuck up and listen to what that person is saying. No we can’t move to a blue state. No we don’t have the resources. And it’s not like all of us don’t want to. And even if we didn’t, you don’t have a say on the matter.
