Omg I met him! I didn’t know who he was bc it was 2020 right after old town road got him famous and he was a guest at my work and he came to me, and I told a joke and made him laugh genuinely. He thought I was funny!! And then we had a lil casual small talk convo and then I turn around to see all of my coworkers all hiding in the corner ontop of each other, watching me talk to him after he left.. then they said “do you know who that is?!” And I did not bc I didn’t know what he looked like then

And then I approached him (with my pride vans on during June mind you) and I told him my gf is a big fan (and I’m a woman so it’s obvious i am gay) and omg he LIT UPPP he did not smile that way with anyone else and he actually seemed so happy to have gay fans and I think that’s when he realized he was becoming an icon and inspiration for the lgbt community, after (wasn’t he outted) a probably really scary time for him where he didn’t know if he would still be accepted in Hollywood.

It was amazing to be part of that experience and see him grow that way in such a pivotal time as he was just outted
