You can be gay without being queer, imho queer is more of a condition of understanding the intersections of gender identity, misogyny, and patriarchy and actively deconstructing those ideas in your mind while also being gay/trans/etc Whereas your sexuality doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve deconstructed these ideas
