I wish i was cis, but i do still find joy in being trans

I’m nonbinary so I can’t imagine myself cis. I don’t think I’d rather be cis of any gender

5 years ago i would’ve said i wish i was cis but now i absolutely love being trans and wouldn’t have it any other way

I would rather be cis tbh, being a “girl” growing up was hell and I just want to be the tall strong brown son my parents would have loved

I don’t mean any hate about this, and I’ll remove the post if it comes off as that, but I was just thinking about it. Like if you were cis, then you wouldn’t have to go through the hassle of transitioning and dysphoria, but at the same time, you would never get to interact with the trans community, and I imagine it would be a completely different experience

honestly, i personally wouldn't. being trans is such an integral part of my identity, it has shaped me in almost every way and if i was born cis i can only imagine that i would have turned out very differently and not have most of the friends i have now. it's been very hard to accept and love that part of myself, but now that i do i find i wouldn't change it for anything 🥰
