I talked on here once about the predation of the military, specifically referencing my partner who joined at 18 to escape a highly abusive situation and now has severe chronic pain and ptsd for the rest of his life and so many people told me he deserved what he got and should've just stayed in that abusive situation or have been homeless instead

once again I am being downvoted for this I am not defending the military and the things they do but I'm saying many of the people who joined are kids who don't know any better and are desperate for a way out of a bad situation you guys are weird, empathy isn't hard

like I'm so tired, my partner realized pretty quickly he didn't want it but he was literally trapped. you can't just leave the military besides he only served for like 3 years bc he got majorly injured
