I dunno, I think people would’ve been fine with it unless someone posted “I assumed someones gender and they got mad at me what am I supposed to do they still look too manly for me to think they’re a girl” or something like that where they’re obviously not making a good faith guess of what the person wants

Idk about all that, I just agree with the original post. I’m trans and I don’t think it’s a problem to assume gender as long as you use the correct one once you’re told.
