It’s hard to describe tbh, it hurts really bad but only for like 5 seconds max. It feels so much better after they get the jewelry in, it really isn’t bad at all after that as long as you don’t twist the jewelry or put a ton of pressure on it. Just be prepared for it to bleed for a bit while it’s healing
