I really don’t like seeing people shut down discussions about certain things because “this other problem has bigger consequences”, there’s always a bigger fish, at some point we’re just going to be trying to one-up everyone without having any actual conversations yk

super true since that’s a common fallacy people use to dismiss other’s experiences. if those people meant well, they would suggest including the other problem in the discussion since they’re related in some relevant way
