I feel like there’s a common misconception that transmasc experiences and transfem experiences must be exact mirror images of one another—where people mistakenly think this is a fact And that it’s universal consensus amongst trans folks. which in turn leads to an uncritical presumption that when a trans man says something about experiencing misogyny, we must be coming from a place of trying to subtly undermine what trans women have to say about the trauma of their own upbringings

My trans masc friend told me i wasnt allowed to say i ever experienced misogyny :) As in reclassifying my experiences bc of how i am perceived currently (which for the first 15-16 years of my life was not male!!!! I only started T in the last 4 years of my life wtf!!!!!!)
