To that crowd, gender is mainly important when it can be weaponized. It’s not really meant to be logical, it’s meant to be an instrument of social control. If strict gender roles were truly natural and inherent, they wouldn’t need enforcement.

‘Transwoman’ is a terf dog whistle because they use it to distinguish trans women from biological women by making it like it’s not an adjective and instead a separate thing (man, woman, transman, transwoman) However imo it’s pretty clear that that’s not how you meant it 😭 and a lot of people don’t know abt it so I don’t blame you. I’m p sure the term is actually used in the rules of girl chat in specifying that we don’t allow transphobia lol
