like idk i’m in a very privileged spot myself, i live w my parents w no rent and that is so huge but here i am finding out peoples parents buy them cars and even give them the down payment for their fucking houses??? like a lot of people are getting this apparently?? my parents went bankrupt and i buy my own groceries living in their house goddamn. like i had to drop out of college because i couldn’t afford it even after loans but some of yall don’t even have debt ???

I feel this so hard Like I’m in a lucky spot all things considered but then the even more fortunate act like they’re less fortunate while having more familial financial safety nets Like I’m lucky to go to college but I gotta haul ass for that debt, thankfully my mom is ready to have me home without rent for so I can pay that - but I’m still on my own for everything otherwise. People just get it handed to them and I wish like idk someone ends wealth inequality
