everytime i meet a trans person im like “ok awesome. do you like crafts” but to be fair when i meet a non-trans person, it’s also just “do you like crafts”.

it’s bad, but after years and years of right wing propaganda without any pushback from the left, it’s unfortunately expected. it seems that right now the pendulum is finally swinging back tho, and now more than ever we need people pushing for us

sorry that was a weird way of saying, someone being trans or not has never gone into my friend decision making process

I have a trans friend! He likes to teach violin lessons. We became friends over the violin :)

When my bf (who was just a guy I was flirting with at a party at the time) told me he is trans after I asked him on a date my exact reaction was “okay cool so did you still wanna go to dinner?”

If they don’t care then the answer should be yes.

a third of people are saying they wouldn't be friends with someone simply because they are trans. That is horrible. It should be less than 2%. I mean really it should be zero, but it should only be sociopaths and such that say no, not a fucking third of people. So yes, it's bad.

i agree that it’s horrible. i meant that i don’t think the people skipping is the worst part of this post!! the more pressing issue is the outright transphobia. sorry if the things im saying are confusing
