honestly you just have to outlast. my mom spent a couple years trying to tell me it was "okay" for me to shave or wax, and i just kept saying no and i didn't want to, and she doesn't bring it up anymore

I'm so sick of people deciding because I'm AFAB that I gotta shave my legs. Talk about sexist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most men have excessively hairy legs? And even if not, the ones who do aren't called unhygienic for it. Fuckass double standard

My mom brings it up at least once whenever I go home, because she views it as unhygienic. I’ve learned to say okay instead of argue and continue to shave my legs whenever I feel like it.
