Dude yes obviously I’m asking how that’s possible. He/him pronouns are for people who are men or at least part of the time. Men cannot be included within the lesbian criteria. Im wondering how this is possible and fits in

Pronouns do not inherently equal gender. Women and nonbinary people can use he/him. Not just men. Pronouns are just silly words we use for ourselves, you do not have to be a man to use he/him just as you do not have to be a woman to use she/her

Hm okay I guess I can see that. That makes sense. I just feel like everyone I’ve met who uses he/him pronounce identifies as a men but that’s obviously only who I’ve met. Idk why everyone needs to downvote me I’m simply expressing my CURRENT understanding (which also is the vast majority of people)

You’re likely being downvoted as this question has been asked a thousand times multiple places and people feel defensive when you ask saying you’re not hateful and in the next comment say “he/him is for men and men can’t be lesbians.” Really makes any he/him lesbian feel as if you’ve already made up your mind and aren’t asking from a place of curiosity

I was saying that’s my current understanding of he/him pronouns which is what most people think. If people approach this perfectly reasonable question with such hostility no one will listen

It’s just kinda grating when it’s being asked for the 1000000000th time

99% of the time he/him is associated with being a man. If someone doesn’t understand why that person can also be a lesbian that’s pretty reasonable imo. I never said I wasn’t open to it I feel like I even made it clear that I was open to it. It just didn’t make sense
