Maybe. But I would prefer to see someone like that over the POS gyno I had a while back. Was very clear he had little to no experience w trans people. Misgendered me constantly, forcibly changed my gender in my med chart (even tho my levels were closer to a cis man), and had a horrific pap smear experience there (but tbh who doesn’t with gynos)

I'm so sorry if you've had that experience! remember you can always say you don't feel comfortable having students observe

Went to the hospital recently and had a med student as my nurse and I was required to procure a stool sample, went to the bathroom about 3 times and no stool sample. And imo that was more mortifying than having med students look into my cooch. Not to mention this was the hospital in my college town… probably had someone who goes to my school tell me to shit in a cup and also saw me walk down the hallway in a gown with the ass out 3 times
