What’s the difference between a warm line and a hotline? And aren’t the Samaritans kinda homophobic/transphobic or am I thinking of someone else?

Warm lines are a resource to just talk, they’re less urgent than hotlines but still help out when you need someone. And I don’t know anything about the Samaritans so I can’t speak on that, sorry 😅

samaritans (at least the boston-based one) is anything but homophobic/transphobic — a huge number of their volunteers are queer
