i really hate that most, if not all, lesbian representation in film and media ends in some kind of loss or tragedy. like where is my happy ending fr.

Or they have an age gap and the trailer comes out and people flood it with “I thought this was a mother and daughter”

I completely agree. I’m not against any of it either. I mean I’m in an age gap relationship myself but I just wish we (as queer people in general) had better happy movies.

Exactly. I’m not even against any of this, but I would LOVEEE some more basic queer love stories that don’t involve homophobic society as one of the major plot devices. Like whyyy must they get outed in a really traumatic way
